During a visit for a prescription refill, patients can expect the clinician to:


Assess whether a prescription refill is right for you or if any changes to your medication are necessary.

Let you know if you’re eligible to receive a same-day prescription. However, your doctor will meet with you to determine if additional testing is needed.

Answer any questions you have about your symptoms and/or any potential side effects.

Offer guidance on how to take the medication properly, and if it will interact with any other medications you might be taking.

Give advice on how to manage your symptoms and what to do if they change or worsen.
