Dr. Maria Franco

Dr. Maria Franco is a Psychiatrist who completed her undergraduate education at Emory University with a major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She attended medical school at Mercer University and completed her residency training at University of Florida. Dr. Franco has had extensive experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, attention deficit disorder, and insomnia. She has a special interest in women’s mental health as well as being sensitive to how culture influences an individual’s perception of their mental health. She believes that compassion and curiosity go a long way in developing a therapeutic relationship with her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
